Temporary & On-Call Nanny Service
Annie's Nannies Household Staffing provides excellent
Temporary nannies to Seattle families. Temporary service
includes: daily, weekly, evening & weekend care,
sick-childcare, overnights, postpartum services, nannies
for travel, as well as short-term On-Going positions.
On-Call Nanny Service
Families that use our On-Call service choose one of
two options: Membership or Non-Membership. Member
families receive certain benefits: priority status,
the ability to request specific nannies, access to
our emergency after-hours cell phone, and access
to overnight and On-Going care. Annie’s Nannies
Household Staffing fees are collected by credit card
or check and paid directly to the agency.
On-Call Fee Schedule
Member
Fees:
- Annual Membership Fee: $250
- Daily placement Fee: $20 per day*
- Overnight placement Fee: $30 for a 24 hour
period
- *Holiday placement Fee: $10 additional charge
- *Emergency Fee: additional $15 for same day
or next day service
Non-Member Fees:
- Daily placement Fee: $40 per day*
- *Holiday placement Fee: $10 additional charge
- *Emergency Fee: additional $15 for same day or
next day service
Nanny Wages:
- $15-$18 per hour (four hour minimum per day)
- Each family employs the nannies. However,
you are not required to withhold taxes from
the nanny’s
salary unless you pay the temporary nanny more
than $1,500 per year. If you choose to claim
the temporary nanny, please request the social
security number at the time of service from the
nanny. Annie’s
Nannies Household Staffing does not provide
social security numbers.
On-Going Nanny Service
We
also offer short-term On-Going nanny service. This
service is for families that need a nanny to work
a set schedule every week. This could last anywhere
from 2 weeks up to 6 months. The goal of On-Going care
is to help families get through a short term lapse
in childcare without having to hire a permanent nanny.
On-Going care is a "pay-as-you-go" service that is
non-contractual and ends when either the family no
longer needs care or the nanny is no longer available
to provide care. It is possible to have more than
one nanny in a given time period, but every effort
is made to offer consistency to the family. Membership
in the Temporary service is required for an On-Going
situation.
On-Going Fee Schedule:
- Search/Consultation Fee: $75 (Fee is non-refundable,
but fee is applied to Annual Membership if a nanny
is placed)
- Annual Membership Fee: $250
- Daily placement Fee: $25 per day OR $450 per
month (whichever is less)
Nanny Wages:
- $15-$18/hour (four hour minimum per day)
- Each family employs the nannies. However,

Hotel / Special Event / Group
Care
We offer childcare for special events such as meetings,
conferences, weddings, as well as other locations such
as hotels, worship centers, etc. where dependable care
is needed. Annie's Nannies Household Staffing will
provide the highest quality childcare for your event,
tailoring activities and services to your specific
needs based on the number and ages of children.
Staffing needs are determined by the following "rule
of thumb" ratios - while not absolute, they are
helpful in the initial planning process.

Special Event Fees
Rates vary depending on the size of the groups and
situation.
- Agency Placement Fees - $40 per day per nanny
- Toys/Games Provided Fee: $150 (flat fee for providing
age-appropriate games, books, toys, coloring books,
creative play and a craft. Includes delivery, set-up
and clean up)
- Holiday placement Fee: $10 additional charge
- Nanny Wages: $15-$18 per hour (four hour minimum
per day)

Postpartum Doulas
Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing now offers temporary postpartum doula placements. doula’s work anywhere from one day to three months or more. The role of a postpartum doula is to help new mothers transition through the postpartum period, as well as to nurture the entire family (spouse, older siblings) following the birth of a new baby. The duties a postpartum doula performs will vary from day to day, depending on the needs of the family. Doulas work during the day or overnight.
Membership in the temporary service is required.
Doula Fee Schedule:
- Annual Membership Fee: $250
- Daily placement Fee: $25 per day OR $450 per month (whichever is less)
Doula Wages
- $25-$28/hour daytime, $28-$30/hour nights. (four hour minimum per day, eight hour minimum per night)
- The family is considered the doula's employer in this situation, just like with temporary nannies. You are not required to pay employer taxes unless you pay the doula more than $1,500 in one year. If you choose to claim the temporary doula, please request the social security number at the time of service from the doula. Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing does not provide social security numbers.
